Corporate Visa Cards for Your UAE Company

Start operating from day one — issue corporate cards to your team while your bank account is still being arranged.

The problem every new UAE company runs into

Incorporation in Dubai is the fast part. The bank account is not. Corporate account opening in the UAE routinely takes weeks or months, involves extensive compliance review, and applications are frequently declined or left pending — particularly for newly formed entities with no local trading history.

Meanwhile the business is already live: subscriptions to pay, suppliers to settle, travel to book, advertising to run. Many founders end up paying company costs from personal cards for months, which is bad for bookkeeping and bad for the audit trail.

What we do about it

Alongside your company formation, Aurum Gateway arranges corporate Visa cards for your entity in partnership with Banqa. Cards are issued to the people you nominate and are funded from a shared company treasury held in USDC, after business verification (KYB).

Because the programme does not depend on a UAE bank account being open, your company can spend properly — in the company's name, with clean records — from the moment it is verified.

  • Cards for the team — nominate directors and employees; the company keeps central control of the balance
  • Funded by the company — one treasury, all cards draw from it
  • Works worldwide — accepted anywhere Visa is accepted, settled in US dollars
  • Built for free zone entities — already in use by Dubai free zone companies
  • Clean bookkeeping — company spend on company cards, not personal ones

How it works

  1. Form the company — we handle licensing and incorporation in the free zone or mainland structure that fits your activity.
  2. Business verification (KYB) — we prepare the corporate documents and the verification of the entity and its beneficial owners.
  3. Fund the company treasury — the company funds its treasury in USDC, which backs the cards.
  4. Issue the cards — virtual corporate cards are issued to the people you nominate and can be used immediately.
  5. Bank account in parallel — we continue your UAE bank account application; the cards keep the business running while it is processed.

Honest scope — what this is and is not

This is a corporate card programme for company spending. It is not a bank account: it does not provide an IBAN, it does not process salaries, and it does not offer deposit protection. It does not replace your UAE banking relationship, and we do not advise treating it as one.

What it does is remove the dead period between incorporation and banking, so a verified company can pay its costs properly in its own name. Most of our clients run both: the cards from day one, the bank account when it lands.

Frequently asked questions

Can a newly formed UAE company get corporate cards before its bank account is open?

Yes. Cards are issued against a company treasury funded in USDC after business verification, so they do not depend on a UAE bank account being open.

Is this a replacement for a corporate bank account?

No. It is a card programme for company spending — no IBAN, no salary processing, no deposit protection. It runs alongside your bank application, which we continue to support.

How long does it take?

Once the company documents are ready, business verification is the main step. Cards are virtual and issued to nominated team members after approval — considerably faster than a typical UAE corporate bank account.

Who can hold a card?

The company nominates the holders, typically directors and employees. All cards draw on the shared company treasury, so control stays central.

Does it work for free zone companies?

Yes — free zone entities are supported and already use the programme.

Where can the cards be used?

Anywhere Visa is accepted, online and in store, settled in US dollars.
